About the role

We’re looking for freelance Project Feedback Specialists for our UX courses, including UX Writing / Content Design and User Research.

This role requires a strong understanding of UX principles across various disciplines. As a Project Feedback Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and providing feedback on student projects for our UX courses part‑time.

This role is ideal for individuals seeking a flexible and rewarding side project.

The ideal candidate will be tech‑savvy, efficient, detail‑oriented and committed to meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

Carefully evaluate student projects across various disciplines (e.g., UX Design, UX Writing / Content Design, User Research), assessing their adherence to the criteria in the project brief and best practices in each respective area.

This includes evaluating the quality of research methods, data analysis techniques, and overall insights for User Research projects.

Use clear and concise language to provide students with constructive and informative feedback that aligns with the course content and specific discipline.

Utilise Loom (screen recording software) to deliver personalised and effective project feedback.

Consistently meet deadlines for project grading and feedback delivery, ensuring timely feedback to students.

Demonstrate proficiency in using various technology tools and platforms relevant to providing student feedback, such as Loom.

Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in UX design across various disciplines, including content design, user research, and broader UX principles, to maintain high expertise.

About You
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a UX design role, with a strong foundation in at least two of the following areas: User research, research analysis, UX design, prototyping (Figma) and UX writing.
  • In‑depth understanding of UX writing principles, content design methodologies, user research methods (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys), data analysis techniques, and broader UX design processes and accessibility standards.
  • Experience in creating research plans and clearly communicating insights (relevant for User Research specialisation).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert ability to blend empathy with direct feedback while providing project reviews across various disciplines.
