Qualifications

• Registered with ECSA as Pr. Eng. or Techni Eng.
• Proven contract administration and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage municipal infrastructure projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors and municipal officials throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee tender document preparation including specs, BOMs, and drawings.
• Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with terms.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Review progress reports, payment certificates, and as-built drawings.
• Facilitate project meetings and effective stakeholder communication.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and standards.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent engineering consultancy focused on municipal infrastructure development in Vereeniging, Gauteng , is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage and deliver a portfolio of essential public works projects.
