An established industry player is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join their Bulk Engineering department. This role involves managing new installations, designing safe and cost-effective solutions, and leading the commissioning of equipment at customer sites. Qualifications

Job description

Overview

We invite qualified candidates to apply for the Project Engineer position within our Bulk Engineering department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new installations and associated resources.
  • Design safe and cost-effective solutions for customer requirements.
  • Lead installation and commissioning of equipment at customer sites.
  • Oversee electrical and instrumentation system design and installation.
  • Conduct project management activities.
  • Provide maintenance support and assist with regional activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric or equivalent qualification.
  • Degree/Diploma in Chemical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Project Management qualification (advantageous).
  • 3 – 7 years of experience in Project/Maintenance and Engineering within the Industrial or Chemical industry.
  • Experience in Cryogenic Design and Project Management (advantageous).
  • Knowledge in design and installation of process, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
  • PLC programming (Allen Bradley software preferred).
  • Familiarity with JDE modules or other ERP systems (advantageous).
  • Valid Driver’s license and reliable transport.
