Job summary

A leading manufacturer of air technology equipment is seeking a Project Engineer to join their mechanical engineering team. The successful candidate will manage large turnkey projects, interpret technical drawings, and liaise with clients. The role is based near Cape Town and requires a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and relevant experience in HVAC or ventilation systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-8 years' experience with HVAC or ventilation related equipment preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and perform accurate costings.
• Liaise with customers for quotes and project updates.
• Manage projects from initiation through to completion.

Responsibilities:

1. Interpret technical drawings and perform accurate costings
2. Liaise with customers to provide quotes and updates on ongoing projects
3. Manage projects from initiation through to completion
4. Conduct site measurements to ensure project accuracy
5. Prepare cost estimations and detailed quotations
6. Provide administrative support to the department as needed
