Job description

A Project Delivery Manager in Monkey and River leads the "Delivery" team within the client services division, overseeing all project deliveries. They coordinate cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards with client satisfaction. They drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and foster a collaborative team environment. Additionally, they handle administrative tasks like reporting and aligning project outcomes with organisational goals.

POSITION INFO :

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

1. Leadership and Strategy :

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Develop and implement delivery strategies that enhance client satisfaction and project success.
• Serve as the primary advocate for project delivery excellence within the organization.
• Provide clear direction and support to ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting creativity and innovation.

2. Client Relationship Management :

• Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, feedback, and escalations.
• Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.

3. Project Planning and Execution :

• Lead project planning, scoping, and initiation activities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Implement Agile methodologies to manage project scope, resources, and timelines effectively.
• Research new and innovative ways to improve the project management process.

4. Communication and Reporting :

• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, ensuring transparency and alignment with client expectations.
• Conduct effective meetings, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

5. Risk Management and Issue Resolution :

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
• Implement corrective actions and lessons learned to improve project outcomes.

6. Client Advocacy and Business Development :

• Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to prepare proposals and presentations.
• Act as a client advocate internally, ensuring that client needs are met and expectations exceeded.

7. Analysis :

• Conduct comprehensive system analysis and consulting to identify business needs and propose effective solutions.
• Review and evaluate existing systems to recommend improvements and modifications.
• Providing insights and feedback to designers on UX and UI outputs alignment with requirements.
• Provide mentorship regarding best practices for documentation, story structure, and analysis processes for other Analysts
• Perform extensive User experience research and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Master’s degree in Informatics, Information systems, Information Technology or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in system analysis and consulting.
• Publications that contribute to the scientific body of knowledge in agile methodologies, DevOps, project management, or related fields will be a plus
• Membership with an accredited professional body, council or board will be advantageous.
