What You'll Be Doing:
As our Project Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of building and maintenance projects. Your mission? Deliver safe, sustainable, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions—on time, every time.


You will:


  • Design, develop, and oversee construction and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure.


  • Deliver building projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.


  • Provide hands-on technical insight and problem-solving on construction challenges.


  • Research and recommend cutting-edge methods that boost compliance and efficiency.


  • Keep track of all provincial building data, including detailed site plans and measurements.


  • Manage preventative maintenance systems and regulatory compliance (zoning, permits, and more).


  • Scrutinize project scopes, plans, and BOQs to ensure accuracy and viability.


  • Lead procurement, manage tenders, and source materials/services.


  • Collaborate on departmental policies, reporting, and strategic planning.


  • Stay ahead of changes in building regulations and advise the team accordingly.




RequirementsWhat You Bring:


  • Grade 12 + a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Facility Management, or Building & Construction Management.


  • A Technical Trade Test Certificate.


  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in construction or facilities.


  • A proven track record (5–6 years) managing complex construction projects.


  • Expertise in:


    • Project execution & capital planning


    • Maintenance and design in mechanical/electrical systems


    • BOQs, SOWs, tenders, procurement


    • Risk assessment & financial controls


  • Solid knowledge of SANS, SABS, OHS Act, NEMA, and other relevant laws.


  • Experience with financial accounting, SLA management, and contract administration.
