Job description

A global leader in testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services is seeking an experienced Solar Project Coordinator to support the construction of a large-scale solar PV power plant in Polokwane, Limpopo.

Duration of Contract: 6 months

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of project administration experience in construction, energy, or infrastructure projects
  2. Strong administrative, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  3. Stakeholder engagement across multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants
  4. Proficiency in project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) (Advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination & Administration: Support daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of project tasks
  2. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain project records, contracts, and regulatory documentation
  3. Scheduling & Procurement: Manage project schedules, equipment procurement, and materials tracking
  4. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with engineers, consultants, and EPC teams to monitor project progress
  5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
  6. Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to local and international safety and environmental regulations.
