Join Our Team as a Project Administrator - JHB - #09 at Tarsus Distribution

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support our Project Management Office (PMO) with essential administrative duties. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects by assisting with document management, meeting coordination, and overall project support.

This role involves working closely with project teams to complete administrative tasks accurately and efficiently. If you are ready for this challenge, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements
  1. Education: Grade 12 or equivalent. A relevant tertiary qualification and certifications in Project Management will be advantageous.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in project administration or project management roles.
  3. Skills: Excellent documentation skills, fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities, knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle, proficiency in MS Office (especially advanced Excel skills).
  4. Personal Attributes: Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactive and resourceful, committed to continuous learning, adaptable, and positive attitude towards working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Document actions and decisions during meetings, ensuring approval from the chairperson before distribution.
  • Create and maintain project documentation structures on SharePoint.
  • Schedule meetings and workshops, providing administrative support to the project team.
  • Update key project management deliverables such as logs, slides, charters, and reports.
  • Engage in self-development by staying informed of industry changes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a learning and growth environment.
