Job description

Job Opportunity: Project Administrator

A leader in the Electrical Engineering field is seeking a seasoned Project Administrator to join their team in Johannesburg. The purpose of this role is to assist the contracts/projects department with all aspects of administration.

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • 23 years of transformer industry experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Projects, SAP & SYSPRO
  • A legal driver's license

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers regarding all documentation
  • Process and issue work orders, including managing handovers between projects and contracts departments
  • Update and manage the project master schedule
  • Monitor customer account status and follow up on invoices and payments
  • Follow up on document approvals (internal and external)
  • Compile letters and progress reports for customers
  • Liaise with internal departments to streamline processes
  • Assist with compiling project schedules
  • Attend internal and customer meetings
