We are thrilled to announce that we have opened the call for application for the position of a Program Manager at our Johannesburg Skate School.

Position: Programs Manager

Region: New Doornfontein, Johannesburg, Gauteng

Starting date: April 2025

Role And Responsibilities

The Program Manager will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the implementation of high quality programs running in Johannesburg. This position requires someone who is not only passionate about community development but also possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to drive these initiatives forward successfully.

Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree or well experienced in Project Management in the Sport for Development sector.
  • Good communication and writing skills + Well spoken English and local language
  • Good understanding of the sport for the development sector.
  • Strong understanding of skateboarding culture, skills, and the ability to connect with skateboarding communities.
  • Good understanding of the local community.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies to ensure the safety and well-being of participants, especially children.
  • Good understanding of project integration and scope management skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, including volunteers, coaches, and community stakeholders.
  • Drivers License.
