Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee various programs
  • Monitor strategic plans, objectives, and operational activities
  • Manage budgets and assist with financial reporting
  • Prepare and submit program reports
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on program performance and impact
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate program staff and consultants
  • Connect HOPE Cape Town’s projects with funders and strategic partners
  • Build thriving communities through peer connection and strategic events and activities
  • Work with team members in South Africa, Europe, and the USA
Qualifications and Requirements
  • More than five years of relevant experience in the social impact sector with proven programme management and implementation experience
  • Deep understanding of the South African, particularly Western Cape, context
  • Excellent relationship management, facilitation, and strategic thinking skills
  • Driven by service to communities
  • Experience with NGOs, CBOs, and philanthropic organizations
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
  • Proven track record of implementing programmes that create meaningful change
  • Experience in leadership development and capacity building
  • Experience throughout the programme management lifecycle, including development, implementation, course correction, reporting, and resource management
  • Ability to maintain and grow critical partnerships
Skills Required
