A leading company is seeking a seasoned Professional Engineer to drive the development of a national Water Reuse Programme. This pivotal role focuses on establishing bankable infrastructure projects, managing complex multi-stakeholder initiatives, and setting best practices in water reuse. Candidates should have extensive experience in infrastructure finance and leadership, with a strong track record in municipal systems and project preparation.
A unique opportunity exists for a seasoned
Professional Engineer (ECSA registered) with strong infrastructure finance experience to lead the development of a national Water Reuse (WR) Programme focused on municipal projects.
In this high-impact role, you will :
Establish and manage a national programme of bankable WR infrastructure projects across municipalities.
Lead strategic programme design , budgeting, resource allocation, and implementation planning.
Manage a portfolio of complex, multi-stakeholder projects through their full lifecycle – from origination, preparation and financing, to implementation.
Engage national stakeholders , funding institutions, and delivery partners to unlock technical and financial support.
Develop toolkits and frameworks that set national best practices in water reuse infrastructure development.
Procure and manage service providers and performance-based contractors.
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related)
ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer
10+ years’ experience in water reuse (EPC & O&M)
5+ years in a leadership or programme management role
Deep understanding of project preparation, infrastructure finance, PPPs, and municipal systems
Strong track record of working with high-level government and regulatory stakeholders
Preferred :
Experience in energy recovery or resource recovery projects (sludge / biogas)
