Requirements:

  • NQF level 7 qualification
  • At least 5 years of work experience in project and programme coordination in a Higher Education environment
  • Proven experience of budgeting, financial management, administration, and reporting for the full programme lifecycle
  • Experience in onboarding, training, and managing subordinates
  • Administrative management experience in processes and systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with interpersonal and customer service skills
  • High proficiency in computer literacy (e.g., MS Office suite)
  • Knowledge and experience with collaborative digital platforms (e.g., Miro, Zoom)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure with accuracy in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proactive with the ability to make critical decisions promptly

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate programmes and activities for the successful delivery of d-school programmes in all formats (online, hybrid, face-to-face)
  • Update and maintain administrative and logistical processes for efficiency across all programme formats
  • Manage financial processes of programmes, ensuring they are current and accurate
  • Ensure programme communication aligns with d-school strategy for stakeholders including students, leads, coaches, project partners, and UCT faculties
  • Manage d-school’s studio assistants and admin assistants to ensure efficient support for all programmes
  • Perform administrative and management tasks as required
