FULL PROFESSOR
- A PhD in any mathematics-related field of study.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of consistent, extensive, and excellent performance in teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Evidence of successful postgraduate supervision (Master's and Doctoral).
- Achievement of international recognition through research outputs within the last ten (10) years, emphasizing recent research outputs.
- Significant contribution to community engagement.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
- A PhD in any mathematics-related field of study.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of teaching experience.
- Evidence of successful postgraduate supervision.
- Achievement of national and/or international recognition through research outputs within the last seven (7) years.
- Significant contribution to community engagement.
SENIOR LECTURER
- A PhD in any mathematics-related field of study.
- A minimum of five (5) years of teaching.
- A record of publications in refereed academic journals, edited books, and/or book chapters.
- Evidence of successful postgraduate supervision.
- Contribution to community engagement.
LECTURER
- A Master's Degree in any Mathematics-related field or a PhD would be an advantage.
- A minimum of 3 years’ teaching and/or industry experience.
Additional Recommendations
- The applicant should have broad knowledge of first and second-year Mathematics and a strong research profile.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications and a strong work ethic.
- Experience in E-Learning.
Summary of Duties
- Management of all learning, teaching, assessment, and research matters.
- Assist in curriculum development.
- Conduct research and publish in accredited journals.
- Perform other duties as determined by the Head of Department.
