Job description

Our client in the consulting environment is looking for a Professionally Registered Structural Engineer to ensure successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead conceptual and detailed design on complex structural engineering projects.
2. Deliver efficient design solutions using advanced software and hand calculations.
3. Ensure quality through technical reporting, QA, and compliance inspections.
4. Supervise and mentor engineers and graduates.
5. Review and take responsibility for the work of others.
6. Manage multiple projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
7. Allocate tasks and ensure effective team utilization.
8. Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and revenue recognition.
9. Draft and manage work authorisations and variation orders.
10. Coordinate with subconsultants and verify their invoices.
11. Assist with resource planning and departmental outsourcing.
12. Provide technical support across departments.
13. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
14. Present technical work and service offerings to clients.
15. Contribute to business development and marketing efforts.
16. Assist in preparing EOIs, RFQs, tenders, and proposals.
17. Identify leads and contribute to winning new work.
18. Develop understanding of technologies, markets, and commercial aspects.
19. Support project and departmental management as required.
20. Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements:
