Professional Quantity Surveyor (Prqs)

Our client in Randburg is currently in search of a proficient Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team and deliver outstanding quantity surveying services.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide advisory and support services in quantity surveying, encompassing contract compilation, cost estimation, payment verification, evaluation, and dispute resolution.
2. Execute standard quantity surveying tasks while offering expert guidance.
3. Generate and formulate cost estimates for contracts and projects.
4. Oversee consultants and contractors, emphasizing quantity and cost aspects.
5. Create, assess, measure, and manage project-related documentation.
6. Offer insights into necessary adjustments to contracts or projects, along with revised budgeting as required.
7. Accurately reconcile and predict contract / project expenses.

Requirements:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying (B tech / BSc) is mandatory.
2. SACQSP registration as a professional Quantity Surveyor is a prerequisite.
3. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience within the building sector and quantity surveying.
4. Prior involvement in building or construction projects is highly advantageous.
