Professional Quantity Surveyor

We are urgently looking for a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in Krugersdorp on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term growth and stability within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in the civil engineering sector
• Sound knowledge of civil works (earthworks, roads, pipelines, concrete structures, etc.)
• Familiar with JBCC, NEC, or FIDIC contracts
• Proficient in MS Excel and QS software (e.g., CCS Candy, BuildSmart)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Immediate availability is essential
• Own transport and valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage cost estimates, tender documentation, and BOQs for civil engineering projects
• Handle contract administration and progress claims
• Conduct site measurements and verify contractor claims
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and reporting
• Prepare valuations, interim payment certificates, and final accounts
• Identify and manage variations and project risks
• Liaise with site teams, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors
