MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To deliver safe, comprehensive, and quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team
2. Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety
3. Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment
4. Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
5. Create a learning environment that builds staff competence
6. Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged

Required Education

• Essential: Degree / Diploma in General Nursing
• Desired: Midwifery; Postgraduate certificate / diploma in relevant specialty area

• Desired: 1 year post-graduate qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit
