Job description

TB HIV Care (THC), established in 1929, is an internationally recognized nonprofit organization. We provide healthcare services across South Africa to the general population and at-risk communities, including adolescent girls and young women, sex workers, and people who use substances. Purpose of the Position:

To deliver integrated health and wellness services as outlined in the TPA and Department of Health NPO Service Package for 2023/24, within the scope of practice. This includes implementing and coordinating Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) within a defined geographic node. Responsibilities focus on wellness, health promotion, disease prevention, home-based care, and supervising community health workers to address primary healthcare needs of individuals, families, and communities.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse
  • At least 3 years of experience in clinical trial or research coordination
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-registration nursing experience
  • NIMART accreditation (advantageous)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clear criminal record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English or other South African languages
