Placements24 is helping a leading football club in Welkom recruit a Professional Football Coach to lead the senior team. The role requires tactical mastery, strong motivational abilities, and a proven track record in player development and match-day strategy.

The coach will guide the team towards competitive objectives, foster a winning culture, and raise discipline and performance across the squad with support from fitness staff and medical personnel.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a head coach or assistant coach at a professional or high amateur level.
• Recognized coaching badges and qualifications (e.g., UEFA Pro License or equivalent).
• Deep understanding of football tactics, player psychology, and sports science.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs and game strategies tailored to the team's strengths and opponent weaknesses.
• Coach and mentor players, focusing on technical skill development, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning.
• Manage player conduct and team discipline both on and off the field, promoting a professional environment.
• Scout and identify potential new talent for the team, contributing to player recruitment strategies.
