Placements24 in Cape Town is seeking a dedicated Commercial Vehicle Driver to join our logistics team. You will ensure timely, safe deliveries across the Western Cape using a modern fleet.

The role requires Code 10 (C1) or higher with PrDP, 3 years’ verifiable experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to load/unload and secure cargo. You will work with dispatch to optimize routes and maintain delivery records, contributing to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Code 10 (C1) or higher with a valid PrDP.
• 3 years of verifiable experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Commendable driving record free of serious infractions.
• Familiarity with the Cape Town metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading duties.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently for scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Perform routine checks on vehicles, including tires, brakes, and fluids, documenting findings.
