Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to manage local routes within Cape Town. You will navigate busy streets, ensure timely delivery, and maintain vehicle condition while upholding professional service.

The role requires a valid Code 10 driver's license with PDP, at least 2 years' delivery experience, and good knowledge of the Cape Town road network. On offer is a competitive salary, allowances, overtime, and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate light commercial vehicles to deliver goods to customers on scheduled routes.
Ensure accurate loading and unloading of products, verifying delivery manifests.
Provide exceptional customer service during delivery, handling inquiries politely.
Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned delivery vehicle.
Navigate efficiently using GPS and local knowledge to meet delivery deadlines.
Report any delivery issues or customer feedback promptly to the dispatch team.
