Job description

Our client, manufacturing of concrete related construction products, is looking for an experienced and motivated PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR to join their team in Polokwane.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee labour and record absenteeism.
• Issues safety materials daily.
• Records all production figures accurately for make and stack.
• Ensures absentees are covered in all jobs.
• Ensures labour use lock out system ( LOTOTO ) when conducting change oversor work stoppages.
• Ensures compliance with company’s good housekeeping practice and providesequipment to keep plant clean.
• Ensures down time is clean up time
• Ensures compliance with the company safety rules as well as the OHS Act.
• Carry out any task not stipulated when requested to do so.
• Must be computer literate and able to work with SAGE.
• Ensures reduction of non-essential overtime.
• Must be well experienced in most tasks.

Requirements :

• Relevant Tertiary degree / diploma
• Must be from a manufacturing environment
• EE candidates
• Must reside in Polokwane or close proximity
