Job summary

Guardian Recruiting (Pty) Ltd seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations in a food processing environment in Cape Town. You will drive production efficiencies, lead a high-performing team, and ensure quality targets are met.

Responsibilities include waste reduction, safety compliance (HACCP/ISO/GMP), and continuous improvement across production lines. You will coach staff and coordinate processes to sustain operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Matric with Mathematics and Science or N3.
• National Certificate in Food Processing.
• Diploma in Production Management.
• Leadership or Management training.
• Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience in a food/fruit processing environment.
• Sound knowledge of HACCP, ISO, GMP and food safety standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
