Key Responsibilities
- Execute plant procedures to meet productivity, efficiency, food safety, and quality targets. This will require continuous monitoring of plant performance, reviewing analytical results, and taking corrective actions.
- Identify areas for improvement in the production process, implement changes to increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Update the production schedule or plan to ensure weekly production targets are met.
- Control product and product processes.
- Manage raw material stock levels and minimize waste.
- Liaise and coordinate maintenance activities on utilities and the production plan with the maintenance team.
- Conduct inspections as part of an internal audit team and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and promote health, safety, and hygiene in accordance with legislation and FSSC 22000 ISO standards.
- Optimize people, plant, machinery, and equipment.
Requirements
- B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (minimum).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production plant operations.
