Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our meat production facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain high-quality standards, and lead a team to achieve operational goals. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety standards, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the meat production lines, ensuring efficiency and compliance with production schedules.
  • Monitor workflow and adjust production activities to meet quality and quantity targets.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., logistics, maintenance, and quality assurance) to streamline production.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, or relevant local regulations).
  • Monitor the quality of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to meet company standards.
  • Team Leadership
  • Manage, train, and motivate production staff to ensure peak performance.
  • Assign duties, monitor team progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement among employees.
  • Health & Safety
  • Enforce compliance with workplace safety protocols to minimize accidents and hazards.
  • Ensure staff are trained on proper handling and processing of meat products.
  • Reporting and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including yields, waste, and downtime.
  • Prepare reports on production performance, staffing needs, and maintenance requirements.
  • Communicate production issues and solutions to senior management.

Requirements:
