Job description

Well-established company based on the East Rand seeks an Production Supervisor to oversee shrink wrapping machine lines!
Requirements:

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role
• Experience working with shrink-wrapping machines or similar equipment preferred

Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight: Ensure daily and weekly production targets are met across all three shrink-wrapping lines; monitor machine efficiency and submit timely reports.
• Team Supervision: Manage staff attendance, enforce timekeeping and break adherence, and address disciplinary issues when needed.
• Damage & Stock Control: Minimize damages through proper storage and handling; conduct cycle counts and proactively report stock shortages.
• Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas; ensure emergency exits and firefighting equipment remain accessible.
• Security & Compliance: Report suspicious activity, monitor unauthorized access, and conduct regular audits and walkabouts to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Dispute Resolution: Resolve minor staff issues independently and escalate more serious concerns for formal intervention.
