Job summary

Our client, a Gouda-based manufacturing and innovation company, is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate and optimize production schedules, resources and capacity, ensuring timely delivery of products in line with customer demands.

The role requires strong HACCP/BRC knowledge, attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration with sales and procurement. Based in Gouda, Western Cape, the position offers growth in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

Grade 12 with Maths and Science.
3 years related experience in production planning.
Knowledge of HACCP and BRC.
Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills.
Good communication and listening skills.
Proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

Plan and prepare production schedules for Edible, Deco and Phytomedicine departments.
Create works orders and establish master schedules.
Liaise with sales and procurement about material availability.
Maintain safety, quality and food safety standards.
Update planning systems and generate weekly OTIF reports.
Monitor rework and implement efficiency improvements.
Maintain the Expedite system and propose monthly innovations.
