Amka Products (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our FMCG manufacturing operation. The role focuses on production scheduling, materials planning, inventory control, and ensuring smooth material and finished goods flow across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in FMCG materials planning, strong SAP ERP/MRP experience, and advanced Excel and Power BI skills. Collaboration with Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing is essential to meet service

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years FMCG manufacturing materials planning experience.
• Strong SAP ERP and MRP experience.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• Solid understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, and supply chain operations.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.
• Able to balance operational priorities and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules aligned to demand and capacity.
• Run and analyse MRP to ensure material availability.
• Integrate forecasts, promotions, and new product launches into production plans.
• Manage inventory levels while maintaining service targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
