Placements24 seeks a hands-on Production Operations Manager to lead a manufacturing facility in Benoni, Gauteng. You will optimize production processes, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and manage the on-site production team to meet targets.

You will develop schedules, lead continuous improvement, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Experience leading production operations and teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience is desirable.

You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and managing resources to meet production targets. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the production process, from raw material management to finished goods, ensuring efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Operations Manager or in a similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in managing production processes, improving efficiency, and meeting targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing principles, quality control, and safety standards.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
