Job summary

iOCO is seeking a highly skilled ML & AI Developer to join our Data & AI team in Johannesburg. The role focuses on designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade ML/AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.

You will build scalable AI pipelines, implement MLOps, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into production-ready solutions using Azure AI and related data platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ML/AI engineering or data science roles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end ML solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable batch and real-time AI/ML pipelines.
• Develop, train, evaluate, and optimize ML models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready AI solutions.
• Implement and manage MLOps including model deployment, monitoring, testing, and retraining.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows.
• Develop and optimize large-scale data processing with Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark.
• Deploy and manage ML solutions using Azure AI and data platforms.
• Monitor model performance, drift, and reliability for business value.
• Contribute to AI governance, security, and best practices.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and innovations.
