Job description

Production / Milling Manager – Ogies, Mpumalanga.

Role description: To ensure that the process is managed from raw material intake, conditioning, degermination, basic maintenance to quality product as per agreed specification into final product bins.

Responsibilities include: Achieving all the technical value drivers as set out by the company.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum 10 years' experience as Production / Milling Manager managing a team of at least 30 people.
2. Minimum 5 years' experience in food safety or similar fields (HACCP, ISO, FSSC).
3. Further qualifications, training, or at least 3 years' experience in people management, industrial relations, and performance management.
4. GMF Modules including practical test passed.
5. Higher education (postgraduate certificate / degree) is advantageous.
6. Basic Mechanical skills (Sifters, roll change, V Belts).
7. Dryer / Heater Bank System Training.
8. Fumigation (Pest Control Fumigation course - PCO course) and Raw material grading experience are advantageous.
9. OHS and/or safety representative (First Aid / Fire Fighting formal training) experience is advantageous.
10. Raw Material Grading Course passed.
11. Forklift License is advantageous.

Salary Package: Market-related, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications, plus benefits as per large company.
