Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, lead, and control a team
  • Produce according to a program and maintain quality standards
  • Train staff to meet required standards
  • Manage employee performance
  • Coordinate with interdepartmental, internal, and external retail partners
  • Handle IR/HR responsibilities including discipline and wages
  • Address staff issues empathetically
  • Relevant sewing experience is necessary/advantageous
Experience And Qualifications
  • Matric/Grade 12 or relevant tertiary education
  • Diploma in production is advantageous
  • Participative leadership skills
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience
  • Proficiency with PC skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Understanding of production analysis and flow
  • Target and quality-oriented
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in furniture manufacturing industry and quality environment
