Production Manager - Press / Assembly Line (automotive)

To manage and co-ordinate activities and functions to ensure optimal production output as per company requirements.

Key Performance Areas

1. Manage and Co-ordinate line functions and ensure that production targets are met according to quality standards and customer requirements.
2. Ensure adequate resources are available.
3. Manage performance of sub-ordinates.
4. Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHE procedures and work instructions.

Knowledge required:

• Technical concepts
• Production planning process
• Quality specifications and systems
• Consequences Management (Discipline and grievance procedure handling processes)
• Understanding of budget, cost, expenditure & cost saving abilities
• Computer Literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

• National Diploma Production Management / IE / ME
