Production Manager (FMCG) - East London Job Summary Job Responsibilities : Lead, manage, and motivate the production team to achieve production targets and deadlines. Oversee daily production activities to ensure product quality and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resources. Monitor and improve production efficiency, minimizing waste and maximizing output. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards within the production facility. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet company and industry standards. Manage inventory control and raw material usage to reduce costs and improve profitability. Troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Ensure timely maintenance and servicing of production machinery and equipment. Prepare and maintain production reports, including performance metrics and KPIs. Implement continuous improvement initiatives in production processes and team performance.
