Job description

Production Manager (CAD drawings, Photo & Videos) – Cape Town.

Production Manager to maintain efficient, smooth day-to-day operations of the production department for a UK Property marketing & process company.

Based in Cape Town, you will manage processes & the team to ensure timely delivery, quality & accuracy of products (CAD drawings, Photo & Video Images).

To Do

  • Work closely with UK & ZA Client Support, UK Area Managers, UK Photographers, ZA & UK QC teams & clients.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all production queries related to Floorplans, Photography, Video & Matterport, including general backend enquiries.
  • Manage procedural and turnaround issues in production at ground level.
  • Directly manage Floorplan & Photography QC teams within your designated area.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication to update on progress, flag risks, and meet client & area expectations.
  • Track and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Proactively resolve production issues or delays to minimize disruption.
  • Identify and address delays, errors, or technical issues impacting delivery, ensuring minimal service disruption.
  • Escalate complaints or recurrent issues for investigation and resolution.
  • Build rapport and uphold high standards of customer service.
  • Manage leave allowances for Area QC teams, including holiday and sickness cover.
  • Provide critical support within the QC & Production Manager teams.
  • Collaborate with the production leadership team to improve systems, workflows, and support innovation.
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as turnaround times, rework rates, and delivery success, with monthly reporting.
  • Provide monthly housekeeping statistics for managed QC.
  • Liaise with CEE on onboarding new clients, ensuring preferences like floorplan templates and watermarks are set up.

Additional Details

  • Onsite office based in Woodstock.
  • UK working hours & days (9am-6pm & 10am-7pm), season dependent.
