Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for productivity and performance?
We're looking for a Production Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee all aspects of our production operations.

Minimum requirement:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a production or operations management role.
  • Grade 12 (relevant B-Tech or Diploma would be advantageous)
  • Hands-on and solid knowledge of machines and willingness to 'get hands dirty and work in a factory environment (Sheet metal engineering machinery).
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in dealing with customers.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office, production software, email, etc.).
  • Solid administrative and organisational abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Willingness to work overtime from time to time as required.
  • Good understanding of production processes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Lead and manage daily production activities to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
  • Monitor workflow, quality control, and staff performance.
  • Implement and maintain health & safety and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to streamline operations.
  • Handle customer communication professionally, including taking orders and managing feedback.
  • Ensure accurate administrative processes and documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate production staff.
  • Keep all admin systems and records up to date on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for all maintenance on machines as well as general maintenance across the facility.
