Job Title: Production Manager - Fabrication

Manage production in a high-volume job shop environment.

Non-Negotiables (We will verify):

1. Expertise in high-volume job production
2. Proven managerial experience overseeing multiple supervisors
3. Strong technical knowledge of fabrication techniques
4. Exposure to CNC machinery
5. Knowledge of ISO standards and Quality Assurance
6. Excellent Excel skills for organization and planning
7. Driver's license and administrative personality
8. 10+ years of production management experience in fabrication jobbing
9. 5+ years of artisan experience in boiler making or fabrication

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning and scheduling production jobs
2. Managing staff and ensuring productivity
3. Ensuring throughput and quality standards are met
4. Utilizing CNC and robotics to improve productivity
5. Managing and optimizing costs
6. Maintaining quality and ISO compliance
7. Managing customer expectations and on-time delivery
8. Overseeing operators and welders
9. Investigating automation opportunities using CNC and robotics

Background and Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of production management in fabrication jobbing
2. 5+ years artisan experience in boiler making or fabrication
3. Relevant boiler making/fabrication qualifications
4. Production management qualifications
5. Experience with production tracking systems and floor layout optimization
6. Exposure to industrial engineering or lean manufacturing is a plus
