Job description

• Good general knowledge of pump applications, fundamentals, operations and components
• High acumen for engineering concepts and mechanical engineering
• 5-10 years in a production environment overseeing the production facility from a design, planning and operating perspective. Exposed to business planning
• Product and material knowledge, metallurgy experience an advantage
• Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings
• Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis
• Degree or equivalent in Engineering
• Project management
• Previous experience with ERP systems

Key responsibility

• Planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling the production of the company to ensure that the highest production standards are maintained at the lowest cost
• Quality policy and assurance procedure manuals
• Implement measures to ensure that various workshops are properly managed and controlled in order to ensure that projected profits margins and growth is achieved
• Provide controls to ensure that the company's production resources are correctly allocated, utilized and directed towards providing quality products that meet the requirements and project delivery dates
• Provide timely responses to both internal and external customers
• Determine and recommend improvements to systems and to provide technical support
