Job description

Main Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Production Executive, the incumbent will be responsible for managing processes and activities of a small to medium team engaged in production operations. The role involves maintaining and implementing company policies, procedures, standards, and driving the disciplines of World Class Manufacturing principles.

Minimum Requirements:

1. South African Citizen
2. Degree or Diploma in Production / Operations Management / Engineering
3. 8-10 years experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in management in a small to medium scale concern
4. Knowledge and experience in EPS / XPS Polystyrene extrusion (advantageous)
5. Proven track record of performance
6. Leadership skills in managing small teams
7. Strong background in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
8. Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required
9. Physical ability to work in varied environmental conditions with heat, dust, and chemicals
