About the Role

Our client, a major player in the petrochemical industry, is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Production Line Manager for their facility in Richards Bay . This critical role involves overseeing all aspects of a specific production line, ensuring optimal operational efficiency, safety, and product quality. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a deep understanding of chemical processes, safety protocols, and team management within a demanding industrial setting. You will be responsible for meeting production targets, managing resources effectively, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maintain our client's competitive edge in the market. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the daily operations of a specific petrochemical production line.
• Ensure all production activities comply with stringent safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor production performance metrics, identifying and addressing deviations promptly.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operators and supervisors to achieve performance goals.
• Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of all equipment on the production line.
• Implement and champion continuous improvement programs (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).

Requirements
