Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a production team in a manufacturing/assembly setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations in a factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a production team to achieve high productivity and morale.
• Oversee daily operations of the assigned line and monitor progress against schedules.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and best practices by all team members.
• Inspect work in progress to guarantee quality and identify defects.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new and existing staff.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with maintenance/engineering to resolve them.
• Maintain accurate production logs and report on KPIs.
• Manage allocation of resources including personnel and materials.
• Participate in continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
