Placements24 is recruiting a Production Lead for Bloemfontein, Free State, ZA. This hands-on role oversees production lines, guiding operators, and driving on-time output with strict safety and quality standards.

You will monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, implement SOPs, and collaborate with maintenance for equipment improvements, ensuring product integrity and continuous productivity on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production or team leadership role within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising production staff and managing line operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Supervise daily operations of assigned production lines, ensuring output targets are met.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production operators.
