Job Title: Production Lead

Qualifications: A National Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering (heavy or light current), or a Qualified Electrician is required, complemented by a minimum of 8-10 years of solid experience in production, commissioning, or maintenance (planning & execution). Experience in the design and manufacture of equipment and turnkey systems, preferably for the Marine or Oil and Gas environment, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review: Understand product specifications and documentation to determine production requirements.
2. Planning: Develop a comprehensive product realization plan covering design, procurement, manufacturing, resources, testing, and documentation. Prioritize tasks clearly.
3. Execution: Manage all product realization activities according to the plan, including initiating mitigation plans for any deviations.
4. Testing: Ensure all products are tested in accordance with company policies and applicable standards.
5. Commissioning: Fully commission all products and systems before delivery.
6. Documentation: Complete all required documentation within a reasonable timeframe and hand over to the Configuration Department.
7. Packing & Shipping: Oversee neat and safe packing of products and assist logistics with shipping arrangements.

All activities must comply with the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) and relevant ISO standards. Collaborate with the design department to resolve manufacturing-related design issues.

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:

• Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and ERP software is advantageous.
• Understanding of relevant industry codes such as ASME, ABS, DNV, LRS, IMCA, IMO is beneficial.
• Knowledge of ISO, OHSAS standards is advantageous.
• Good interpersonal skills, assertive, creative, analytical, and independent problem solver.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken, reading, writing).
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver quality work without compromise.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions meticulously, and willingness to work overtime.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
