Our client in the Steel Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Production Foreman to join them in Germiston Gauteng. The successful candidate will have experience working in a unionised environment and managing 30 staff. There are shifts. Excellent quality management is required for this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Title : Production Foreman

Geographical area : Germiston Gauteng

Salary range : R 30000.00 - R 40000.00 Basic salary benefits

The successful incumbent will be responsible for :

• Schedule and supervise production workers
• Inspect finished product
• Maintain production records
• Optimize production processes
• Conduct safety briefings
• Train new staff and provide continuous training and support
• Labor relations

Minimum qualifications and experience :

• Matric
• Diploma in Production management / mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 3-5 years experience in Production management
• Willing and able to work shifts
