A leading company in the Cold Products sector is seeking a Production Engineer to enhance manufacturing processes and lead production teams. The ideal candidate will possess a BEng and significant experience in quality and safety compliance, with strong leadership and analytical skills. This role offers the opportunity to drive process improvements and ensure high standards in production.
This exciting role demands a BEng (preferably in Metallurgy, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering) coupled with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes, SHE, and quality procedures, as well as proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of Cold Products systems and equipment will be an added advantage.

JOB SPECIFICATION
The incumbent will be appointed as a Production Engineer in the Cold Products business unit, reporting to the Area Manager. Responsibilities include optimizing and continuously improving production processes in adherence to the QCDSM (Quality, Costs, Delivery, Safety, and Moral) framework, and ensuring that business KPAs and KPIs are met.
The role also involves overseeing three-shift production teams, ensuring safety and quality compliance according to relevant standards, and executing all production-related activities cost-effectively. The successful candidate will be the custodian of Cold Products metallurgical processes, responsible for reporting, analyzing, and monitoring production processes and product quality. They will recommend process improvements based on trials and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
