Job summary

West Coast Personnel is seeking a structured production leader to manage a 20+ staff team and ensure daily production aligns with customer orders and deadlines.

The role requires strong planning, quality focus and people management, with an emphasis on continuous improvement, OHS compliance and efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• 5+ years' Production Manager / Production Supervisor experience.
• Proven experience managing 20+ production staff.
• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Strong technical aptitude and manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience within timber, woodworking, shopfitting, engineering, packaging, printing, metal or plastics manufacturing advantageous.
• Strong production planning and organisational ability.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Computer literate – Excel and Outlook.
• Forklift license advantageous.
• OHS experience advantageous.
• Able to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong but fair people-management style.

Working Hours

Monday–Friday: 08:00–17:00
Saturday: 08:00–13:00
