Job summary

Lesaka Technologies Inc. in Durban, South Africa, is seeking a hands-on Production Assistant to join a small production team. You will assist with electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies, panel wiring, and general workshop tasks.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of electrical sub-assembly experience, a clean driving record, and fluency in English. You will use basic DIY tools, soldering equipment, and assist with generator operations as needed while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence with clean record.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Minimum 1 year experience with electrical sub-assemblies.
• Hands-on panel wiring and mechanical/electrical assembly work.
• Practical knowledge of electricity from work experience.
• Comfort using DIY tools, including drills and soldering equipment.
• Ability to read and write in English.
