Job description

Our client based in Cape Town is currently seeking a Production and Warehouse Manager to join their team.

Overview :

Supervise and manage production, warehouse, and related functions.

Responsibilities :

1. Control scrap percentage
2. Control efficiency and production
3. Handle day-to-day related matters
4. Consolidate timesheets / clocking schedules or related requests
5. Maintain a good housekeeping environment
6. Build morale within the department
7. Achieve production targets
8. Manage health and safety at the workplace
9. Oversee loading / off-loading of deliveries
10. Manage regular stock ordering
11. Oversee warehouse management
12. Control department costs
13. Compile weekly and monthly stock takes
14. Assist the company with requested projects as needed

Minimum Requirements :

1. Matric
2. Diploma in Production Management or similar (preferred)
3. 3-5 years of relevant experience
4. Production management experience
