Production and Logistics Coordinator

Our client in the Horticulture industry, based in the East London area is seeking an organized Production and Logistics Coordinator to join their team.

Requirements:

1. A tertiary qualification from a recognised institution
2. Experience in the following fields will be advantageous: Production management and/or logistics, Cross border trade, Warehouse Management, Bookkeeping
3. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
4. Ability to manage time effectively and operate under pressure
5. Excellent communication and reporting skills
6. Excellent computer literacy (preferably Pastel, Xero and Excel Software)
7. Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

1. Manage company logistics, both domestic and international
2. Oversee production at the various production centres
3. Manage stock control and monthly inventory records
4. Generate quotations and process orders
5. Work alongside a small, highly motivated management team
6. Support the company’s growth in the SADC region
